What to Expect in August
August conditions are nearly identical to July — perhaps marginally drier. It is the busiest month on the mountain, period. Northern hemisphere summer holidays mean the trails, camps, and summit night route are at maximum capacity. Advance booking is essential: some July/August departures sell out by April. If you want August, contact us now. The conditions make it worth it — cloudless skies, firm trails, and an electric atmosphere at camp.
